Chilean Model 1895 Mauser Bolt Action Magazine Carbine, Serial Number A9607, Caliber 7 mm Mauser
The left side of the receiver ring is marked A9607 and MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895 over MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN. The top of the receiver ring has the National Crest of Chile. The bright finished bolt has a turned down handle, which is marked A9607. The trigger guard plate is marked A9607 at the forward end. The magazine floor plate is marked 07. The butt plate face is marked 431. The cleaning rod is marked behind the slot A9607. The walnut stock is marked on the left side below the receiver ring A9607. The left side of the butt stock is marked with the CHILEAN NATIONAL CREST over M95. The bore is excellent. This carbine is probably unissued and unfired. The blue finish is strong fading to brown on the receiver. No sling or bayonet. Historical Significance: During 1895, the rifle was adopted by China, Colombia, and Persia, under the designation Model 1893; and by Chile, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Boer states of South Africa, under the designation Model 1895. Except for minor variations in stock design, weight, barrel length, and manufacturing details they were all similar to the Spanish Model 1893.

Any items left after the specified load out dates will be considered forfeited unless alternate pickup or shipping arrangements are made. It will be the buyer's responsibility to dismantle & disconnect any and all equipment. Please bring your own tools, labor, packing materials & moving equipment.
