Mauser Co. logo), and in a downward arc OBERNDORF 1896, (date of manufacture). The left receiver wall is marked A 9465 SIX POINTED STAR, MAUSER ESPAÑOL MODELO 1893 / MANUFACTURA MAUSER OBERNDORF A/N. The bolt handle is
marked K627, the cocking piece and safety wing are marked SIX POINTED STAR 04. The walnut stock is broken at the wrist, old repair done with a leather sleeve, nicely done. The left butt stock has the Mauser Company CROWN AND SHIELD logo and 1896 marked thereon. Below the left receiver wall is marked A 9465, the right butt stock has the letter JJ deeply carved thereon. Standard blued steel stock furniture, the cleaning rod is missing. The bore is very good. The butt plate is heavily rusted; remainder of metal is turning a smooth age brown. The stock has heavy patina, shows
minor use and wear. Mechanically excellent. The unmarked bayonet with the rifle is not correct and does not fit this model arm. Historical Significance: This rifle is one of 30,000

LOAD OUT: Winning bidders may pick their items up at 16513 Cornerstone Drive; Belton Missouri on Wednesday, March 11th from 1-5pm & Thursday, March 12th from 9-12pm. Any items left after the specified load out dates will be considered forfeited unless alternate pickup or shipping arrangements are made. It will be the buyer's responsibility to dismantle & disconnect any and all equipment. Please bring your own tools, labor, packing materials & moving equipment.
